Herbie Hancock is one of the best composers of all time. Just in case you don’t know, he was the first jazz musician to adopt synthesizers and funk music into the stylistic elements from jazz. He was also a member of Miles Davis quintet, and last night I´ve shot his solo performance at CCB.
Peter Hook performed at CCB together with his band “The Light”. The co-founder and bass player from
the mythic post-rock band Joy Division brought the legacy of Ian Curtis to a show full of old time songs.
Luisa Sobral just released her debut album “The Cherry on my cake” and played last week at CCB.
